Contributions and Resources

In gathering information to include in this wiki, we rely on the work of many individuals. On this page, we want to acknowledge these people and their work.

If you make a contribution to this wiki, we encourage you to add your name and website or blog here, too.

This wiki is owned and maintained by The Bamboo Project as a service to the nonprofit community. We wanted to create a centralized location for learning about and sharing information on how nonprofits can use Web 2.0 technologies effectively. We couldn't find one that met our needs, so we created one ourselves.

Beth Kanter of Beth's Blog is a fountain of information. We regularly read her site and the articles she writes for other organizations, including:

TechSoup is another great resource for using technology in nonprofits. They regularly feature "how-to's" and examples of how other nonprofits are successfully using technology.

Rallyfan from Random Thoughts on Life and Work has added some good content on fundraising.

The Idealware Blog always has good articles on various tools. You may also want to check out their Reports and Articles.

Wild Apricot's Blog is another great resource for articles about web technology and social media tools for associations, clubs, charities and other member-based organizations focused on taming the modern web technologies and using them effectively.
